Florida: The new third most populated state after California and Texas.

Florida has overtaken New York and has become the third most populous US state.

For its warm climate, Florida is a place where seniors in northern U.S.A and Canada decide to retire or spend the fall / winter seasons and has become not only one of the favorite destinations of South American migrants but also the new meeting point for young professionals throughout the continent.

Statistics provided by the Census Bureau last tuesday show that Florida has at least 19.9 million residents compared to 19.7 million in New York.

The most populous states are California, with 38.8 million residents, and Texas, with 27 million, that continue to occupy the first and second place respectively.

Florida added almost 300,000 new residents between 2013 and 2014. New York, however, only added 51,000 new settlers in the same period.

An analysis by The Associated Press conducted earlier this year showed that people who used to live in New York represent one in 10 of the new residents of Florida. Migrants from other countries, meanwhile, accounted for about a quarter of the new residents of the state.

For this reason and many more factors, Miami and surrounding cities have become one of the most desirable places in the world … Do not miss this opportunity to invest in a property with miamiresidential.com
