Multiplan is a development firm founded by Brazilian Jose Issac Peres. It develops, owns and manages shopping malls in Brazil. At age 22 while an economics student, he founded his first real estate development company, named Vepan, which he turned into publicly-traded Multiplan. In 2014 Peres' Village Mall property in Rio de Janeiro became the site of Brazil's first official Apple store. Multiplan has also developed 57 Ocean, Ocean Park and Il Villaggio.
