With only a few blocks currently occupied, the area has a lot of room for growth and development, and it’s expected to catapult Miami as a premier shopping capital in the world. Many high rise condominiums were built over the last several years in this fairly new neighbourhood, making it one of the most rapidly appreciated areas in the country. Its close location to the city, great views of the city, the bay and Miami Beach, and affordable new condominiums and homes makes of Miami Midtown a great choice for potential buyers.
In this pedestrian friendly neighbourhood you will find plenty to do. The Shops at Midtown is an outdoor shopping area with restaurants and stores such as Target, Guess and Marshalls. Some fine brands including Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari and Fendi, among others, are planning to open shops in Miami Midtown.
Midtown has also become home to Art Miami art fair, which takes place during Miami's Art Basel week.
At the north end of the neighbourhood is the Design District, with design showrooms and stores, art studios, galleries and media related companies.
Midtown Miami is close to Miami Beach, and it’s 15 minutes away from the Miami International Airport.
